Advantage
One of the strong points of the powerful MULAG push-back tractors is their suitability for multi-functional use. Contrary to classical tractors, they can also be assigned to other hauling jobs, for example in cargo handling. more>
Pushback tractors
With the help of a towing bar, our towing tractors can also pushback small- and medium-sized aircraft and manoeuvre the aircraft from parking to start position.
Equipped with their own chassis and a sufficiently high weight, the Comet towing tractors provide an optimum load distribution. The permanent hydrostatic four-wheel drive ensures precise, safe pushback action.
Multi-functionality
Our product portfolio comprises tractors of category I and II which can tow aircraft of up to 150 t MTOW (pursuant to IATA AHM 955). In many cases, Comet towing tractors with their multi-functional application options for example in cargo handling are the economically sounder alternative to classical aircraft tractors that can be used for pushback jobs only.
Features
One of the main advantages of our tractor range is the individual adjustment to the customer's requirements. Besides the extensive selection of standard equipment, there is a large number of additional features which make push-back operations even more efficient and the ground personnel's job much easier, for example special couplings or mirrors for optimum view, etc.
