MULAG Management system IMS
Quality, environment and energy are key to MULAG's corporate success and have great importance for our products and our production. From our extensive experience in the field of vehicles and attachments, standards have developed in these key areas with the claim of a market leader. To maintain these, we use a comprehensive integrated management system (IMS) in the company, which aims at implementing improvement measures for quality, sustainable handling of the environment and energy resources.
What we do for high quality
In order to be certified and attested by third party's report, our QM-system is constandtly being supervised by independent organisations and by customer audits such as:
- DIN EN ISO 9001 quality management audits through TÜV Süd
- DIN EN ISO 14001 environmental management audits through TÜV Süd
- DIN EN ISO 50001 energy management audits through TÜV Süd
- DIN EN ISO 3834-2 supervision audits through SVL-Mannheim
The positive results of these audits confirm the successful implementation of our QM-strategy.
What exactly is MULAG-Quality?
The Management understands itself as the driving force for the implementation of a consequent quality policy in the interest of our customers. Our Quality Management has set the follwing target: "All MULAG products and MULAG trade goods have to be first concerning design, production and service quality compared to those of our competitors." Since 1996 our business processes are certified, currently according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
Environmental management according to DIN EN ISO 14001
In this, the lived processes are aligned with an environmental aspect assessment, in which all influences on the environment are recorded even before the development of new products. This results in products that have been tested and designed for their environmental compatibility, from their creation and operation to their recyclability. The focus is always on the continuous improvement of the company's environmental performance. All employees provide ideas on how to consistently use fewer resources, avoid harmful substances and produce fewer emissions. Waste is consistently reduced and residual materials are returned to the material cycle. The 360° view of all environmental aspects also helps to identify the requirements of all interested parties and to take them into account where possible.
Energy management according to DIN EN ISO 50001
Specific energy consumption can only be further reduced through the conscious use of energy sources. Therefore, MULAG measures the relevant energy consumers, recognises and defines potentials. The measures derived from this promote energy-conscious action on the part of employees, machines and equipment are checked and selected for energy efficiency before procurement and existing equipment is systematically maintained in order to achieve a sustainable reduction in the demand for electricity, fuels and combustibles, but also the use of heat and compressed air.
EcoVadis sustainability rating
100% Green Electricity
Since 2021, MULAG has been sourcing 100% of its electricity from renewable sources. The RenewablePLUS certificate guarantees that the electricity generated is entirely from renewable energies. In addition, the expansion of renewable energies is promoted through further ecological measures and investments in the plants. Through climate protection projects of the ÖkoPLUS quality label, all associated CO2 emissions are made climate neutral.
Guaranteed TÜV quality
- Investment in new plants: The operators/owners of the production power plants promote the expansion of renewable energies by investing in new plants, the expansion and extension of existing plants or ecological measures. The sum of these investments exceeds the income generated by the sale of the guarantees of origin.
- 100 % climate neutral incl. upstream chains: All CO2 emissions associated with electricity generation (construction and operation) are made climate neutral through climate protection projects of the ÖkoPLUS quality label.
- Monthly simultaneity: Electricity is generated simultaneously on the basis of a monthly balance sheet.
